Purpose

To give directions, to define the correct procedures, regarding the design, construction, certification and maintenance of a fiber optic network and to support not only its members, but the industry in general.

Members

The Association has 179 members and has a Consultative as well as an Informational character. It consists of people working in positions, on optical networks and technologies (technicians, engineers, diggers, teachers and people from the research area).

03.

Activities

Efforts are being made to communicate and collaborate with suppliers, providers (ISP, Telecom etc.) and industry professionals, to organize events and conferences. These will concern, not only the members, but also all those who deal or will deal directly or indirectly with projects that require the use of optical fiber technology.
